New Lamp Shade
When I was moving stuff into our new place I managed to break the glass shade to this ikea lamp into a million pieces on the street in front of our house. I kept the base thinking I would eventually make a shade for it. I finally finished making one today. It is a little wonky looking because the wire frame is made out of coat hangers. The fabric is from superbuzzy, just glued to the frame with fabric glue.
Day Twenty-Six: Static motion
Went to Ikea to find some stuff and stumbled upon this light fixture. Not something that I'd have in my house, but a fun design all the same.
I was only going for a bokeh in the background when I took the shot, but when I looked at it again full screen, I noticed that everything seems to be in a motion blur. Of course the lamp shade was complete still, hence the title of the shot. :)
